Job Summary:

This position will work directly with the Controller with the day-to-day accounting activities and administration of all benefit plans.   Direct responsibilities will include Accounts Receivable as well as a variety of accounting functions. 

Duties and Responsibilities included (But are not limited to…):

  • Gain an understanding of our corporate ERP system and use it in day-to-day accounting activities such as cash application, journal entry preparation and entry, General Ledger maintenance
  • Learn China branch processes and procedures; ensure compliance with China taxation laws
  • Update supplier information
  • As needed, assist with ongoing accounting work including but not limited to semi-monthly payroll activities, our month-end closing process, employee benefits management
  • Perform Accounts Receivable activities, including collection efforts on past due customers, credit checks, etc.
  • Create and maintain new financial and business reports while improving upon existing reports
  • Provide various ad hoc Excel based customer analysis for Sales & Marketing department
  • Prepare State Sales and Use Tax returns in compliance with payment and reporting regulations on special project as they arise
  • Support other various administrative functions of the organization

Experience and Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, finance, math, or a related field, 2 – 4 years related experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.; Microsoft Access is a plus
  • Familiarity with accounting software; specifically knowledge of Infor’s Visual is a plus
  • Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision
  • Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills
  • Superior verbal communication skills; Mandarin language skills is a plus


Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
