CoreMax® Access Valve & Tools

The Industry Standard for Efficient Processing and Leak Testing of Packaged HVAC Refrigerant Systems.

The CoreMax Access Valve & Seat System provides up to five times greater processing flow than common Schrader® valves and has dramatically improved sealing performance. Plus, it provides easy and reliable system accessibility compared to stub tubes and leak prone "Saddle Valves".

CoreMax Tools are designed to work seamlessly with the CoreMax Access Valve in all processing stages (Leak/Proof Test, Evacuation, Charging, Run Test, Final Fill & Reclaim/Rework). Together they form a flexible system that shortens processing times, while improving the quality of refrigeration products.

Unlike other systems, this is an integrated system design that has been specifically designed to OPTIMIZE OEM PROCESSING, ELIMINATE ACCESS PORT LEAKS and MAKE FIELD SERVICING EASY!

Manufacturing Processing Steps with CoreMax®

Leak/Proof Test

CoreMax® MBE

CoreMax-Page-MBE-Connector.png

View

Description:

Use at Leak/Proof Test stations.  Latches to the CoreMax Seat.

Can be used with Seat only (no CoreMax Valve) for maximum flow capacity or with CoreMax Valve installed in Seat (MBE has an actuator pin that will open CoreMax valve) but flow capacity will be less through Coremax Valve.

Evacuation

CoreMax® OEM SnapMate™

(Option 1)

CoreMax-Page-SnapMate-OEM.png

View

Description:

CoreMax OEM SnapMate can be used at any process station to connect and open the CoreMax Valve, including evacuation.  An internal shut off valve stops flow when disconnected.  CoreMax OEM SnapMate has a smooth connect/disconnect action.

Higher flow capacity/faster evacuation can be achieved with CoreMax MBE or Core Insertion Tools (see below).

CoreMax® MBE

(Option 2)

CoreMax-Page-MBE-Connector.png

View

Description:

The CoreMax MBE will achieve a faster evacuation than an OEM SnapMate because it does not have an internal shut off valve.

Highest flow capacity/fastest evacuation can be achieved with CoreMax Core Insertion Tool (see below).

CoreMax® Core Insertion Tool

(Option 3)

CoreMax-Page-MBE-Core-Insertion.png

View

Description:

Use at evacuation station to maximize flow capacity vs. OEM SnapMate.

Core Insertion Tool will remove CoreMax Valve from Seat and move it out of the flow path for maximum flow capacity.  When evacuation is complete use the tool to screw Valve into Seat and torque to specification using a CoreMax Torque Tool or CoreMax Torque Gun.

Refrigerant Charge

CoreMax® OEM SnapMate™

Description:

CoreMax OEM SnapMate can be used at any process station to connect and open the CoreMax Valve, including refrigerant charge.  An internal shut off valve stops flow when disconnected.

Final Fill

CoreMax® OEM SnapMate™

View

Description:

CoreMax OEM SnapMate can be used at any process station to connect and open the CoreMax Valve, including final fill refrigerant charge.  An internal shut off valve stops flow when disconnected.

Reclaim & Rework

CoreMax® OEM SnapMate™

View

Description:

CoreMax OEM SnapMate can be used at any process station to connect and open the CoreMax valve, including reclaiming the refrigerant charge and evacuation during rework.  An internal shut off valve stops flow when disconnected.  Ideal if only one tool is to be used.
